When I started my Capsule Wardrobe I knew I would have to set a budget for myself, I also knew that I could use the money from my Birthday and Christmas gifts to buy some of the more expensive items. While I was creating my capsule I decided to keep track of my expenses, so I wrote down my Wish-list and every time I got an item from the list I would write down the price of it. This helped me keep track of how much of my Budget I still had.

BUDGET: 500€
MONEY FROM PRESENTS: 100€
BUDGET USED: 527

This took me 1 year to achieve, I started in June 2014 when I made my first shopping post with pieces for my wardrobe, little by little I was able to create a wardrobe that will last me years, and if I get tired of a piece, I will use the One in One our Rule. And as you can see I'm still left with 73€ from my budget, I can now use this in another department, maybe on jewelry, I do love a good quality piece of jewelry. Simple but good quality.

  1. I did a module about this at University as part of a Sustainability project and it is really interesting. I think it is something I am really interested in, it is great that you basically know what to wear everyday as everything goes together.
